9 Months!

Maddie had her nine month checkup on Valentines Day. I can't believe how big she is getting. She weighed 21.12lbs and measured 28in. After her checkup, which included a shot, we took her to get routine blood work to check her iron levels. Thankfully, I brought daddy along on this trip, so he handled the shot in the Dr. office while I was outside with Milo and went back in the room with Maddie to get her blood drawn. Just hearing her cries from the waiting room, was almost too much to handle. Mike was my hero! Here is a pic of Maddie with her boo boo (as Milo called it) after her blood draw. She always has a smile on her face! Love this little girl!!!

BIG Boy!

Today, Milo has gotten through the entire day with just undies on (no pull-up) and NO accidents! This even included nap time! We did make one trip to the potty during nap time but no accidents in the bed! Yay! I am so incredibly happy and proud of my BIG Boy!

Cha, Cha, Cha, CHANGES!

Mike and I have been doing a lot of talking and evaluating of our life lately. As our family has grown these last few years so have our priorities. After a long talk tonight, we decided we need to change our priorites and focus on what is important in our life. We want to make God, each other and our family the forfront of our focus instead of the distractions we have put first. Soooo.... as a starting point we have both deactived our Facebook accounts! Gasp! Oh the horror! It is such a liberating yet uncomfortable feeling, one that I am enjoying! To take charge of your life instead of letting it control you is an exhilerting feeling. So here is to being a wife to one, mother of two, and a recovering facebook-aholic!

Bounce, bounce, bounce!

Last week we went over to some friends house to celebrate with their little girl her 6th birthday! She was give the best present of all... a bounce house! This thing was amazing and I so wished I was 6 again and could have gotten in it and had so much fun. Milo immediately wanted in so we took his shoes off and off he climbed. I don't think I have seen him more happy. He ran around that little house and tried to jump. Milo jumping means he just stomps his feet but it is so cute! I for once was not stressed out watching him have fun. If he fell he wasn't going to hit concrete or a wall or some other object that would seriously hurt him. So mommy stepped back and watched her little boy play...

Sea World!!!

We were blessed to have some friends who were able to get us 50% off season passes to Sea World! We have gone around 6 times since we got them in March. Milo absolutely loves to see the fishes and the whales. While Mike goes and rides the Manta or Kraken, Milo and I go to the aquarium to look at and try to touch all the beautiful fish. Milo loves to explore new things and finds everything fasinating! There is a show where they use rescued dogs and cats and train them to do tricks during the show. Milo absolutely loves the show. He claps even when he is not supposed to and looks around so proud that he is a big boy now! We took Milo to go see Shamu and he stood the entire time dancing to the music and saying wow!!! There is a kids section where they have slides and kiddie rides. Milo went on his first carosel ride. He fussed while he had to wait for it to start but loved it once it finally started moving. He kept saying wee! Below is a picture of Milo and daddy watching Shamu as well as big boy Milo standing by himself.
